Earl W. Bartgis, Jr.
Earl Bartgis' was born and raised in Frederick. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from George Mason University and his Law Degree from Georgetown University Law Center. He also completed the MICPEL mediation courses in both general mediation and domestic mediation and presently serves as a mediator in both civil and domestic cases for the Circuit Court of Frederick County, Maryland. Mr. Bartgis has an A.V. rating with the nationally renowned Martindale–Hubbell, which is the highest peer rating available.
Mr. Bartgis currently resides in Frederick where he was married and has raised his three daughters while practicing law for almost 20 years.
Earl Bartgis' practice includes a broad spectrum of general civil litigation matters, including considerable experience in the areas of general commercial litigation, landlord/tenant litigation, real estate contract litigation, land use litigation, real property title litigation, family law, administrative proceedings, insurance defense and plaintiff's personal injury. Mr. Bartgis also serves as a court appointed attorney for children in custody cases in the Frederick County Circuit Court. He represents children seeking special education benefits and has served as a volunteer through the Maryland Disability Law Center for many years. He is also experienced in appellate practice.
Prior to opening up his own practice, Mr. Bartgis was with Miles & Stockbridge, P.C. for 15 years. In his earlier years, he served as a legal assistant to Dewey, Ballentine, Bushby, Palmer & Wood in Washington D.C.

Pam has accumulated over 20 years experience in the fields of business law, civil litigation, family law, estate planning, personal injury, worker's compensation and social security disability working for the law firms of Barton & Williams, P.A. and Jenkins, Block & Associates, P.C. in the Hagerstown area. She is a native of Washington County, Maryland and currently resides in Hagerstown, Maryland with her husband and three children.
